MSA Manufacturing Ltd is a bespoke producer of machine and kit cut composite core and grp materials. They are a key supplier to a number of prestigious companies, and are now looking for enthusiastic people to join their production team in a number of key roles.

To produce parts by manual processes and/or by setting up and operating a numerical control machine. Maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records and maintaining equipment/supplies.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and operate CNC machines, operate manual tools, support in assembly and packing
  • Prepare and load raw materials/parts onto the machines
  • Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts
  • Meet production goals in regards to cycle time, quantity and quality
  • Quality control of finished products
  • Check and maintain machinery and tools daily to ensure functionality
  • Adhere to health and safety/quality procedures at all times
  • To carry out any other duties within your capability as requested by Management
  • To proactively identify and implement improvements into the production process
  • Apply and implement all SOP’s and adhere to all company rules
  • Report and control stock movements, ensuring safe storage of materials and machined parts
  • Ensure work space is clean and organised
  • Think about current/future trends and opportunities to make life “EASIER” for both customers and colleagues
  • Essential requirements

    • Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading production orders, SOPs, blueprints and mechanical drawings
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teams.
    • A methodical and collaborative approach along with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
    • A thirst for knowledge and ability to share relevant know-how.
    • A team player that is accountable for their work and recognises that flexibility within the role may be required from time to time.
