Job Overview:

As a Sales Account Support, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our largest marine-based client. This position is ideal for individuals with prior manufacturing or boatbuilding experience who aspire to advance their careers in a sales-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day account activities for our largest marine-based client.
  • Process new enquiries and up-issues following established protocols.
  • Enter and maintain sales Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Interpret technical drawings and collaborate with the engineering team on product reviews.
  • Provide proactive support to the sales team.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications/Capabilities:

  • 2+ years of experience in the marine industry (desirable).
  • Previous manufacturing experience (desirable).
  • Basic knowledge of composite materials (desirable).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D CAD models (essential).
  • Proficient in reading/viewing/dimensioning in CAD software such as Rhino, Fusion360, etc.) (desirable).
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Progress Plus, etc.).
  • Full UK driving license (desirable)

Position:   Permanent, full time/part time
